God burdened particularly 60 people who gathered for VBS fellowship retreat at Coimbatore on 30^th august 1992 with the vision verse “ the measure you walk that measure I give unto you” (Genesis13:17) and with the mission of preaching the gospel to the poor, healing the broken hearted and setting free those who are down trodden. (Luke 4:18)  As a result of this burden the ministry of Gospel friend was born.
